  10. Puffer is a general purpose encryption tool for Windows that protects your
  11. personal and business data as well as your e-mail correspondence.  Use
  12. Puffer to securely exchange data over insecure channels.  Puffer uses
  13. state-of-the-art encryption algorithms for maximum security.  This shareware
  14. version has been approved for export from the U.S. by the State Department
  15. through a commodity jurisdiction determination.

  29. Installation
  30. ------------
  31. Puffer is normally distributed inside a ZIP archive through online services.
  32. Unzip the distribution files into a temporary directory.  Run the SETUP.EXE
  33. program from the Windows Program Manager by selecting File/Run.  The setup
  34. program will prompt you for a destination directory (C:\PUFFER2 is default)
  35. and will create a Puffer2 program group.  You may remove the files from
  36. the temporary directory after the installation is complete.

  39. License Agreement

  41. Puffer is copyrighted software distributed as shareware, a "try before
  42. you buy" marketing concept where users are encouraged to copy and share it
  43. with friends and business associates.  You are granted a limited 30-day
  44. license to evaluate Puffer to see if it meets your needs.  When the
  45. evaluation period expires, you must purchase the registered version or
  46. delete the shareware version.  Failure to do so is a violation of the
  47. license agreement.  Single user, network server, and unlimited user site
  48. licenses are available.  Click the Register button on Puffer's main page
